Crash In Seagoville Causes AT&T Outage

A car crash into an AT&T terminal box in Seagoville - Dallas County, Texas, Sunday morning caused up to 800 AT&T customers in the area to lose phone and internet service, informed by CBS11.

The crash happened around  6:30 a.m. in the 700 block of the west bound service road of U.S. Highway 175.

This outage affects the Seagoville City Hall, Library, Police Department, Animal Services, Code Enforcement and the emergency call out for public works.

The City of Seagoville 9-1-1 lines were immediately transferred and all 9-1-1 lines are being answered.

The Police administrative lines are being transferred to an alternate line as well.

AT&T is working on restoring services as quickly as possible to the area.  The city said  it could take two to four days before services is restored.

Meantime, the Seagoville Police Department has increased patrol in the city.
